The iPad group usually meets on the third Thursday of the month from 11.00am - 12.30pm at Cronton Methodist Chapel, Chapel Lane, Widnes, WA8 4NT. These meetings run alongside free workshop sessions at the Apple Shop, Liverpool One, L1 8BU. At the moment there is no fixed day for workshop sessions but they take place as and when can be arranged with Apple. Details when available can be seen on the separate Ipad Workshop group page here. The aim of this friendly group is to share knowledge and help each other with iPad issues, with an iPad in one hand and a cuppa in the other. Members make a small contribution towards the room hire at Cronton. The group is steadily increasing in numbers and meets regularly throughout the year. In true u3a spirit, we embrace the ethos of shared learning, with the aim that members each learn something new, having had a few laughs in the process.
