The ‘Green Shoots' gardening group usually meets at 10.30 am on the third Monday of each month in the café at Notcutts Rivendell Garden Centre, Widnes, Mill Lane, Widnes, WA8 3UL. The group is for members who are interested in gardening whatever size their garden is and whatever level of gardening experience they have. It is hoped that members will be able to share practical tips and information as well as plants and seeds. There may also be occasional speakers at meetings and garden visits. There is also a lively member's WhatsApp group where gardening joys and woes, snippets of information and photos are shared between meetings. New members are welcome.
