Saturday 16th May - Halton Millennium Green Fun Dog Show. Halton Village Millennium Green is a lovely little green space that’s open 24/7 all year round for everyone to enjoy. It’s a hidden gem, run entirely by the community for the community. It’s owned and managed by Halton Village Millennium Green Trust, Registered charity no. 1068775. All of the Trustees are volunteers as are the Action Group members who help with all the practical maintenance and community events.Everyone is welcome to come to our events, they are all free entry - any funds raised are used to pay for ongoing costs like insurance and maintenance. Even if you don’t fancy the Fun Dog Show, it’s well worth visiting the Green, it’s behind the The Norton Arms pub, just down the hill from Halton Castle. Sunday 6th September 2026, 4.30pm - Connected Voices Choir at the M&S Arena, Liverpool.
If you enjoyed listening to the Connected Voices choir for HU3A 10th anniversary celebration and you’d like to hear more with over 200 voices, just open the link below for details of their big concert at the auditorium in the M&S Bank Arena. It starts at 4.30 pm, so nice and early to get home. The event is to support the Bebe’s Hive Charity, in memory of little Bebe King who was tragically killed in Southport.
